View answerSince assuming the role of Minister for the Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, I have had discussions with the Minister for Education and Skills to explore ways to improve participation in the arts within the education system. Arising from these discussions, senior officials from my Department and the Department of Education and skills are now examining a number of initiatives to address arts in education.
