504 Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason disadvantaged area payment has not issued in respect of the year 2010 to a person (details supplied) in view of the fact that payment has issued relating to 2011; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerAn application under the 2010 Disadvantaged Area Scheme was received from the person named on 17 May 2010 following processing of which a dual claim was identified in respect of one land parcel declared by the person named. My Department has written to both parties involved and is awaiting clarification regarding the matter and, on receipt of a satisfactory reply, the application will be further processed with a view to appropriate payment issuing at an early date thereafter.
