219 Deputy Arthur Spring asked the Minister for Health the waiting time for a medical card holder to receive an appointment with an ophthalmic surgeon at Kerry General Hospital; and if the Health Service Executive has any plans to reduce this waiting time. [35242/11]

The management of outpatient waiting lists is a matter for the HSE and the individual hospitals concerned. I have, therefore, referred the Deputy's question to the Executive for direct reply.
