232 Deputy Martin Heydon asked the Minister for Health the position regarding the works to be carried out by the Health Service Executive at St. Vincents Hospital, Athy, County Kildare following an inspection on 9 November 2010 and as set out in the providers responses of 20 December 2010 regarding Action 1, if all such work is now completed; the amount spent on the works; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Health Service Executive has responsibility for the management and delivery of the health capital programme. I have, accordingly, referred the Deputy's question in relation to the hospital concerned to the Executive for attention and direct reply.
