456 Deputy Mattie McGrath asked the Minister for Health if the Health Service Executive will approve home help for persons (details supplied) in County Laois who were assessed by the local public health nurse as a high priority; if the HSE will take responsibility should an incident happen to the person in question should the HSE continue to refuse home help; if he will respond to a letter sent to him dated 15 November 2011; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is a service matter it has been referred to the Health Service Executive for direct reply. The Department of Health responded on the 23 November 2011 to the person in question in relation to the original letter on this matter.
