609 Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the extensive cuts in services proposed by the Health Service Executive for Waterford Regional Hospital, including the closing of three theatres and the reduction of inpatient care by 5% — 200 patients — and 10% in day cases — 2000 patients; his plans to prevent such cuts in services; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
