234 Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Social Protection the position regarding payment for a qualified adult under the State pension contributory in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [6220/12]
View answerThe person concerned has been awarded an increase for a qualified adult allowance on his State pension (contributory) for the period 1 January 2010 to 25 July 2011. The amount due will issue this week. He has no entitlement from 26 July 2011, as his wife has been awarded a State pension (transition) from that date.
