311 Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if an application from Kilkenny County Council for funding to refurbish the Newpark Close, Kilkenny housing scheme will be expedited and approved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Kilkenny County Council has submitted this project for inclusion in the Social Housing Investment Programme for the period 2012-2014. I hope to be in a position to make announcements in relation to budgets or allocations for the various housing supply programmes in early March.
