730 Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Health if any remuneration, stipend, expense facility, financial facility or similar payment is being made from the Exchequer to any senior public servant who has retired from his Department or the Health Service Executive beyond any accrued pension entitlements; if any such payment has been sanctioned for current senior public servants who are about to retire from his Department or the Health Service Executive; if he will list the name, positions and details of any relevant moneys paid or scheduled to be paid of any person in receipt of or sanctioned to receive such a payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Health (Deputy James Reilly)

The table details payments made by my Department to retired employees of the Department of Health or the HSE for specific projects or tasks. No other such payments have been approved for staff due to retire from the Department in the near future.

With regard to the Health Service Executive, they have been asked to collate the data sought as soon as possible and it will be provided directly to the Deputy by them when available.
