751 Deputy Sandra McLellan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the national lottery funding disbursed to local sporting organisations for each of the years 2009, 2010, 2011 and to date in 2012; and if he will provide a breakdown on a county and club basis for the same years. Under the Sports Capital Programme the Department provides funding at local, regional and national level to sporting clubs and organisations, voluntary and community organisations, local authorities and, in certain circumstances, schools/colleges towards the provision of sporting facilities and the purchase of sporting equipment.

The amounts disbursed in 2009, 2010 and 2011 will be available on the Department's website www.dttas.ie by the end of the week. The figures for payments this year, up to Friday 10 February, are included in the table:
