248 Deputy Michael McCarthy asked the Minister for Education and Skills to provide an update on an application for an extension to a school (details supplied) in County Cork; if he will provide a timeline for when he expects a decision to be made on same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An application for major school capital funding has recently being received from the school referred to by the Deputy. This application is under consideration and officials from my Department will be in contact with the school shortly.
