274 Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Education and Skills if any State board appointees have volunteered to waive their fee or expenses; the names of such persons; the corresponding savings to the State; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11893/12]
View answerTo date my Department has not been advised of any waiver of fees by individual board members of those bodies under the aegis of my Department where fees are applicable. In respect of one of such bodies, I would like to inform the Deputy that remuneration fees will not apply to the new Board of the State Examinations Commission (SEC) which is due to be established shortly. The following fees currently apply in respect of SEC:
