466 Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the cost to his Department of the senior Minister's car in the period relating to 1 June 2011 to 31 December 2011 to include mileage and car related expenses paid to the senior Minister; if he will detail the salaries paid to civilian drivers, overtime, subsistence and travel expenses paid to them and all other related information, and the information should include any payment made in 2012 related to a 2011 claim. In line with Government policy, I do not use a state car. My Department has employed two civilian drivers since May 2011 for driving duties in my own car in line with approved arrangements. Details of the salaries and the travelling and subsistence expenses paid to the two drivers for the period since their appointment to 31 December 2011 are set out in the table. Neither driver was paid overtime last year:
