242 Deputy Dominic Hannigan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he has engaged with Meath County Council regarding the possibility of events being held in County Meath during the Gathering next year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12045/12]
View answerIn relation to the organising of The Gathering 2013, Fáilte Ireland has established a Project Board to oversee its planning and delivery. Staff assigned to work on The Gathering are currently considering how to engage appropriately with those groups, in the public, private and voluntary and community sectors who plan to hold Gathering 2013 events. Accordingly, I have referred the Deputy's Question to the agency for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
