330 Deputy Gerry Adams asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources if he will provide a breakdown of the total fees received in his Department for freedom of information requests and the number of individual requests in each of the years 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. My Department was established in 2007 and provision of information for the years prior to that year is not possible.

In addition to the details sought by the Deputy, I can advise that over the period 2007 to 2011 a total of €2,650 was received in fees in relation to appeals of decisions issued under the FOI Acts.
