181 Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he has received proposals in relation to the realignment or amalgamation of two schools (details supplied) in County Kildare; if he intends making any recommendations in relation to these two schools; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm to the Deputy that my Department has no record of receiving proposals in relation to the realignment or amalgamation of the two schools to which he refers. It is open to the schools in question to furnish details of their proposals to the Department for consideration.
