636 Deputy Dessie Ellis asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his view on the lack of consistency in ticketing practice on the Irish Rail network which means some stations do not have ticketing machines or desks and passengers must buy their tickets on board despite this being a fineable offence at any other station (details supplied).
