172 Deputy Alan Farrell asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources if he will outline by county and in tabular form, the total number of wind farms on State owned or leased land and the cost per county to the Exchequer; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe information requested is not available. The commercial Semi State companies develop their land-bank on a fully commercial basis and this is a day to day operational matter for the companies concerned.
There would be no cost per county to the Exchequer. Any rent or other payments made to the semi State companies would be fully reflected in their annual accounts.
