697 Deputy Patrick Nulty asked the Minister for Social Protection the number of State companies who have used overseas companies for printing work in the following years 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011; if he is satisfied that this is an appropriate use of State resources; and if she will make a statement on the matter. View answerAll printing contracts placed with companies by my Department are awarded following competitive processes, which are carried out in accordance with Government procurement guidelines and in line with the relevant EU procurement policies. During the period in question, no printing contracts were placed with companies outside the Republic of Ireland.
