805 Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he will put in place a scheme to examine ghost commercial properties and provide funding to local authorities in order that these properties can be made safe and cleaned up (details supplied). Within the resources that are available to me the focus of my efforts, and the efforts of the National Co-ordination Committee, is on public safety issues within Category 3 and 4, unfinished housing developments. I have no function in respect of commercial property.
