550 Deputy Jonathan O’Brien asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the amount of money that would be saved in the Property Registration Authority if public sector wages were capped at €100,000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19771/12]
View answerI can inform the Deputy that the estimated total annual saving for the Property Registration Authority, on this date, if public sector salaries were capped at €100,000, for the current staff concerned, would be €52,491. The estimated net savings for the State would be less than this amount.
