45 Deputy Michael McCarthy asked the Minister for Finance the total number of mortgages which are currently held by State-owned banks; if he will provide a breakdown of the number of mortgages held by each bank, specifying the type of mortgage held and corresponding number of mortgage holders; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Further disclosures, beyond these statutory requirements, are not given due to commercial and market sensitivity issues.
