View answerIn the context of ongoing work on the reform of local government, I am currently considering the key findings and recommendations provided to me by the Local Government/Local Development Alignment Steering Group, with a view to determining the arrangements that will deliver the maximum benefit for local communities and people. Building on a range of reforms already under way, I intend to bring policy proposals to Government in the near future.
