703 Deputy Brendan Ryan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his attention has been drawn to the fact that in some cases drivers of taxis and hackneys are in some cases given less then two months notice that they need to replace their vehicles upon renewal of their licences; his views on whether this is an adequate notice period; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
