Jack Wall

Question:

73 Deputy Jack Wall asked the Minister for Finance the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kildare has not been issued with their P45 in view of the fact that it is a year since the person left the employment; the mechanism available to them to obtain such a certificate; if the person is entitled to any tax rebate regarding their period of employment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Written answers

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the issue of a P45 is primarily a matter between the employer and the employee. However the Revenue Commissioners have written to the employer concerned and await a reply. In the interim the District Manager will write shortly to the person concerned seeking the information necessary to determine if any tax refund is due for the year 2011.
