731 Deputy Maureen O’Sullivan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the amount of funding that has been allocated to Horse Sport Ireland through the national lottery; the criteria used by the national lottery and his Department in recognising a good cause; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is not responsible for the disbursement of assistance from national lottery funds and in any event, my Department understands from Horse Sport Ireland that it has not received funding from the National Lottery.
