View answerAs part of the Government's Capital Review published in November 2011, I have secured capital funding of €1.5 million for youth projects in 2012. It is anticipated that a significant portion of this funding will be specifically allocated to youth cafés. My Department is examining options for the most effective distribution of this funding. An announcement will be made in due course in relation to how the funds will be distributed. The priority will be to ensure that the maximum impact and cost effectiveness is achieved.
