683 Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of evidential breath samples that were tested by the Medical Board of Road Safety in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and to date in 2012. [32272/12]
View answerThe compilation of statistics on the number of evidential breath samples tested by the Medical Bureau of Road Safety is the responsibility of the Bureau. I have referred the question to the Bureau for reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a reply has not been received within ten days. I should also add that the number of evidential breath samples for each of the years 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 can be obtained from the Bureau's Annual Report's for those years. These Reports are available for download from the Bureau's website which is part of the University College Dublin website.
