View answerThe Central Statistics Office's Monthly Industrial Production Inquiry provides a short-term indicator of trends in the volume of Industrial production.
Final results for the first quarter of 2012 show a decrease of 2.7% on the preceding quarter (Q4 2011) and a decrease of 0.4% on the first quarter of 2011.
