220 Deputy Anne Ferris asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he will confirm, on a county by county basis, the cost of overtime paid to local authority staff for 31 March 2012, the last day for registration payment of the household charge. [35474/12]
View answerUnder section 159 of the Local Government Act 2001, each City and County Manager is responsible for staffing and organisational arrangements necessary for carrying out the functions of the local authorities for which he or she is responsible. Accordingly, the details sought in the question are not available in my Department.
