View answerThe details of the salaries of the Chief Executive Officers of the twelve State Bodies operating under the aegis of my Department are outlined in the attached table. In relation to two Commercial State Bodies — Coillte and the Irish National Stud — the salaries of the Chief Executive Officers are paid from the companies own resources as they do not receive funding from my Department.

The following revised reply was received from the Department on 9 October 2012.
The answer to this PQ outlined the salaries of CEOS of State Bodies under the aegis of the Department. The figure for Coillte is incorrect in the table accompanying the reply to the question as it is understated by €11,000. The correct figure is €265,252.
