197. Deputy Paudie Coffey asked the Minister for Finance the number of new start-up businesses which have benefitted from the three-year corporate tax exemption scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [37996/12]
View answerI am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the most recent available information on the relief in question is for the year 2010 and is derived from corporation tax returns filed in respect of that year. The number of companies claiming the relief for 2010 was 855.
