796. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection if a person (details supplied) in Dublin 15 may be considered a dependant on their spouse's carer’s allowance payment; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [38574/12]

There is no increase for a qualified adult payable with the carer’s allowance scheme and therefore it is not possible to add the person concerned as a dependent on their spouse’s carer’s allowance claim.
