The Sports Capital Programme is the main channel of Government support for developing sports facilities and purchasing sports equipment for sports clubs and organisations across Ireland.

The 2012 round of the SCP was advertised in March 2012. By the closing date at the start of June, over 2,350 applications for funding had been received.  The organisation referred to by the Deputy did not apply for funding.  It is open to any organisation with a suitable project to apply for funding under any future rounds of the Sports Capital Programme.

Perhaps funding may be available from their National Governing Body.
