127. Deputy Jack Wall asked the Minister for Social Protection the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kildare has not had their rent supplement paid for the past ten months; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [42208/12]
View answerThe Department has paid an Exceptional Needs payment in relation to the arrears owed to the person concerned. However, a housing needs assessment is required from the client in order to ensure that a future entitlement exists. The person concerned has been given an additional 12 week period in order to obtain this document.
