Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Transport; Tourism and Sport if he will ensure that the Irish Aviation Authority do not grant approval to a college (details supplied) until there is a full investigation to enure there is no connection between them and the liquidated Pilot Training College Ltd. [43965/12]

The subject matter of this particular question, i.e. the licensing/approval of flight training schools is the statutory responsibility of the Irish Aviation Authority, and I have referred the question to them for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a reply has not been received within ten days.
