511. Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a person (details supplied) in County Galway will be paid their 2012 disadvantage area based payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [44222/12]

Under the Terms and Conditions governing the Disadvantaged Areas Scheme, a person must, amongst other requirements, occupy and farm, in their own right and at their own risk, a minimum of three hectares of forage land. As the person named does not meet this requirement, no payment is due.
