297. Deputy Jim Daly asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the grants available to qualified instructors in County Cork to provide training for unemployed persons to return to work; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [46218/12]
View answerMy Department does not provide grants to individuals in this context. However, FÁS contracts training providers to deliver certain courses to unemployed people. I understand that persons interested in applying to be a contracted trainer to FÁS can register their interest on the website www.etenders.ie or can contact their local FÁS office.
