413. Deputy Michael McCarthy asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if there are any vacancies at present in heritage and culture centres in the south-west region; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [45712/12]
View answerMy Department operates a delegated sanction from the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform for implementation of the moratorium in relation to local authorities, and any exceptions to the moratorium in local authorities require sanction from my Department. In this regard , my Department has not received a request to sanction posts at heritage and culture centres in the South-West Region.
