Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Finance if he will provide detailed figures for the total sovereign debt issued by the State through the sale of bonds for each year 1990 to date in 2012; if he will break down the nature of each of these issuances by amount, interest rate, maturity period and ownership; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe information requested by the Deputy concerning debt issued through the sale of bonds each year since 1990 is presently being compiled by the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA). I hope the Deputy will appreciate however that given the volume of information sought and the length of time covered by the request, some additional time is required in order to ensure that the answer furnished is the most comprehensive and accurate that it can be. I will provide the Deputy with the information requested as soon as possible. I hope and trust that the Deputy understands the position.
