Deputy Patrick O'Donovan asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government in view of the introduction of the new local property tax if he anticipates any changes to the operation and implementation of the rules with the Private Residential Tenancies Board; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Finance (Local Property Tax) Bill 2012 is currently before the Oireachtas and is a matter for the Minister for Finance. Until such time as the Bill is enacted I cannot comment on the implications, if any, the legislation may have for the Private Resid ential Tenancies Board.
