View answerThere are no proposals to move responsibility for health related specialist disability services to the Department of Social Protection. "Future Health", the recently published Strategic Framework for Reform of the Health Service 2012 - 2015, envisages that services and supports for people with disabilities will be part of integrated social and continuing care provision within a reformed health system.
