267. Deputy Arthur Spring asked the Minister for Education and Skills the percentage of persons aged between 20 and 40 who hold a third level qualification; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [58169/12]

As per the results from the most recent 2011 census conducted by the Central Statistics Office, there are approximately 35.5% (427,498 of 1,203,174) of the population between the ages of 20 and 40 who hold a third level qualification of Ordinary Bachelor Degree or National diploma or higher.
