339. Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Education and Skills when a higher education grant application in respect of a student (details supplied) in County Mayo will be processed; the reason this application has been delayed; and if he will expedite the application in view of the delay experienced to date. [1755/13]

Officials in my Department have confirmed with Student Universal Support Ireland that the application from the student in question has been processed and the outcome was communicated to the student by letter 17th December 2012.
