Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Finance further to Parliamentary Question No. 215 of 22 January 2013, if Irish Bank Resolution Corporation, in which he is the sole shareholder of 100% of the shares, has been assessed by the Central Bank of Ireland for authorisation requirements as detailed in the instructions paper entitled Checklist for Completing and Submitting Bank Licence Applications. I have been advised that IBRC was subject to the relevant Central Bank of Ireland approval process at the time of the granting of its licence.
