81. Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Education and Skills the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo has been refused the higher education postgraduate flat rate fee grant on the grounds of attending a part-time course when they have clearly proved that their course is full-time in nature; if he will have this file re-examined; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Officials in my Department have confirmed with Student Universal Support Ireland that the application from the student in question is being reviewed and it will notify the student directly of the outcome as soon as possible.
