Coillte Teoranta was established as a private commercial company under the Forestry Act 1988 and day-to-day operational matters, such as the management of the forest estate including its forest parks, are the responsibility of the company. I understand that, while there is a daily charge of €5, there is also the option of an access card for €35 which provides unlimited access to all of Coillte’s forest parks for the period of one year, which may be purchased on-line at the ‘Coillteoutdoors.ie’ site.
