Deputy Jim Daly asked the Minister for Health if he will set out the circumstances in which the Health Service Executive withdrew the Alpha-Skrykep hip piece from use in the HSE southern region; the steps taken to provide redress and the support for patients who have suffered from this faulty product; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
