Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No 472 of 5 March 2013, the steps that are open to citizens when they have evidence that a claim was made under the drug payment scheme on their behalf, although the medication was neither received by them nor ordered by them. The HSE takes any information provided in relation to fraudulent activity very seriously. If any person has any information in relation to fraudulent activity of any kind they should provide that information to the HSE, or to the Gardaí, and appropriate action will be taken.
