Deputy Micheál Martin asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will address the need for a co-educational secondary school to meet the demand for a non-fee paying local secondary school in an area (details supplied) of County Dublin, in view of the fact that there are currently eight national primary schools in the area, the need for a non-fee paying secondary school was identified in the local area plan, which formed part of the Dún Laoghaire County Council Development Plan 2004; his plans for this urgent development; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
